We are home!!
We are officially at home!!! Two weeks later we are finally home. The home health nurse came last night and we had to change the dressing on the picc line again cause Sammy's poor skin is getting rubbed raw under there, but it is done and I administered the iv antibiotics for the first time this morning and so we are off and running. Well Hannah is running, Sammy is just kind of hobbling when she has pain medication, but we are home and that is what matters. Thank you all so much for your prayers and support. It is soooo nice to come home to a clean house and food, and not have to worry about that part yet. I am going to try to go get a little more sleep now since I have been up since 4:30 doing the iv thing, but I hope to update again soon, maybe with more pictures. If you talk to Jon today, tell him happy birthday!!! :)

SO glad you are both back home. What a wonderful b'day gift for Jon too!! You are all still in our thoughts and prayers, but more on the "joy" side than the "concern" side!
ReplyDeleteJust checked the blog to see how things were coming and was so happy to read that you are home! The prayers do continue here in Prattsville, NY, for all of you, but just as Lonna has said we are now praying with praise not so much the concern, but that too continues as well.
