January in a nutshell

January has flown by and February is half over, but I wanted to post a couple (or quite a few) photos that I have from January. The first set of pictures was from the first weekend in January. We went up north to Prescott to play in the snow. We really had a ton of fun, even though it was pretty wet and cold. I guess that is why it is called snow. :)





Sammy and Hannah's birthday are about 10 days apart, so this year they opted to celebrate it together in a "big" party instead of two "little" parties. The theme was Strawberry Shortcake.

One of the days we were there, Stacey took over caring for Samantha while Jon and I were able to take Hannah to the Science Museum together. This is a picture of Hannah watching a video Sammy made for Hannah. She was so funny. She would play with the block for about 10 seconds and then want to watch the movie, play for another 10 seconds and then want to watch the movie again. She really missed her sissy.
Since we have gotten home from the hospital the girls have found a myriad of ways to play together even though Samantha is not walking yet. Sammy often has Hannah get things for her, which Hannah is always willing! This picture is of Hannah pretending to cut Sammy's hair with a play credit card. Sammy would lean forward, and Hannah would yank her hair to pull her head back, and they would both laugh hysterically. I didn't quite understand it, but funny to watch none the less.
