This is the current theme song for my life at the moment. Monday before my crazy labor week Jon found out his hours and pay was getting cut at work so that he is making exactly half what he was before, not enough for us to live on for very long. Then after having our gorgeous little girl everyone in the family has gotten sick with the flu including little Carissa in spite of all my efforts to quaranteen and disinfect. I am tired and worried, and the girls are indecure and super whiny from feeling neglected. In the current moment these things can feel overwhelming to say the least, but I know that God is holding us tight and knows exactly what He is doing in order to further His kingdom. It is frustrating to me, but I have to and will trust that in suffering through these dillemnas, our little family will be able to grow closer to and glorify God in a way that would not be possible without these situations. More importantly I need to remember how truly blessed we are and how little we actually deserve. I am super thankful for three beautiful girls and a husband who loves me very much. I am also thankful for so many friends and family who are helping us at this time, either by praying, bringing meals, buying gifts, watching kiddos, or even something as simple as encouraging words. We are so blessed!
