Disneyland... Take 2... and San Diego

Jon and I got a chance to get away by ourselves for a whole weekend!!!! THANK YOU to Grandma and Grandpa Schmid and Meemaw and Papa Bertoni for watching the girls. It was more appreciated than you will ever know! We got to spend some time at Disneyland to ride the "big kid" rides, and then made our way down to stay on Coronado Island. We visited several museums while there and just had a great time with each other!

This was the awesome hotel we got to stay at, the Hotel del Coronado!

This was a really cool Russian Submarine we toured. Jon realized that he was not cut out for the sub life, since 6' was the highest point inside and there were about 6 of thoses holes below that worked at doors and hallways in the sub!

We were able to walk on this beach a ton! I loved it. We even had a "moonlit walk" =) very cool. Here are some pictures before heading out for a night on the town :)

And of course the classic pose in front of the hotel before we left. It was hard to come back to reality, but we missed those sweet little faces of our girls and vowed that we would one day return to the beautiful Coronado Island.
