Sammy has gotten a video from Hannah that I have been trying to load forever, but I still have not gotten it to work. This is Sammy's video back to Hannah. The song that she is singing is an invention created by my sister and mom for my soon to be brother in law. It was called Oh Stinky AJ, but now we insert everyone's name we can think of.

Sammy's day today has been good. Healing is going well from surgery, and she is able to move her toes and flex, which is what they were concerned about from the surgery last night. Her fever has stayed low all day (like 100.0 and under) so that is FABULOUS. They changed her antibiotics to a different one called clindamycin because the two she was on is really hard on her little body and kidneys. She ate a really good breakfast, but has not eaten lunch or dinner. She has a headache, but other than that today has been a take it easy no tests kind of day. Doctors said they are looking for a couple days with no fever, able to walk on the leg, and no recurring swelling and redness elsewhere before she is able to go home. SO it looks like we will be here through the weekend, and maybe beginning of next week. Thanks to everyone for all of the prayers and support. It is REALLY making a huge difference. Gotta go now. Sammy wants to cuddle :)

  5. What a sweet video! My sister had brain surgery when we were Sammy's age, and I remember how much I missed her when she was in the hospital. Interestingly enough, Care Bears were the BIG thing back then too. We are praying for you and hope that your whole family can be together again soon. Love, Amy
