Jon has decided to plant a garden once again! This is a picture of our side yard. This time he has decided to try a raised bed in order to keep the grass from growing. He planted a whole bunch of stuff (like 20 different things) so it will be interesting to see what grows! The girls were awesome helpers and loved the daddy daughter project!
If you layer newspaper under the soil then it helps prevent weeds and grass grow and then the newspaper breaks down and makes good fertilizer. I'm converting half of my grass into a garden. Gonna get started next weekend!
