Updates on Samantha

It has been forever since I have blogged so I thought I would try to give a short summary of the last month or so. Samantha is doing very well. We had a setback though do to a broken leg. The day she got her picc line she had xrays taken and it was determined that her bone had a complete fracture where she had had her second surgery where the hole was drilled to let the infection out. It was a relief in the fact that her leg had swollen up again and we were worried that it was a recurring infection, but was hard to accept that she would now have to be in a cast for another month. Talk about adding insult to injury! Anyway we had a Disneyland trip planned and decided to go ahead and go anyway (Neither I or Jon wanted to break it to a 4 year old that the DIsney trip would have to be postponed for the 3rd time) THe neat thing though is that we got on a whole bunch of rides almost immediately and actually had to wait very little with our special assistance pass. We called it our "golden ticket" =) I will try to post Disney pictures soon, but I am packing right now for a weekend away for just myself and Jon (HOORAY)!
