Surprise Holiday Celebration

Jon is begging to do this blog update, but it is so my turn!!! (For an explanation of why I will not let Jon post to this blog, please refer to November's blogs) :) Friday night we got to spend some family time at the Surprise annual holiday party. We started our night with dinner at Pei Wei (hooray for eating out) and the girls tried to impress everyone aound us with their "drumming" abilities. They then refused to eat anything with their forks and would only use their chopsticks, although Hannah got slightly frustrated and started using her hands, but no forks. I couldn't help but laugh when Hannah would say "No 'fork' mommy" :)
We got there a little early so we had the enjoyment of watching them blow up the balloons.
A great picture of the balloons all lit up.

This is Jon letting Hannah touch the foot of the giant bumble bee balloon with her head.

Here is the giant bumble bee balloon all lit up.

Some fireworks from the show. That was really cool, my favorite part.

These were two of the four skydivers coming down to land. One of them actually made it into the area they had blocked off for them to land. The other three landed outside in the crowd.

Jon and Sammy watching the skydivers. It was pretty cool. Sammy kept telling the story to everyone this weekend about the men "falling" from the sky.

Stacey and AJ were able to meet us up there to watch everything too, so it was a lot of fun to have them there as well. It is always so nice to have an extra set of hands, or shoulders to sit on. :) Thanks AJ and Stacey. :)
