Gardening memoires

Ok so Jon has decided to plant a garden in our backyard. A worthy excuse for a grown man to play in the mud. He has been extremely thurough about it. He bought a book on the proper procedures of gardening, followed all of the steps, planted the seeds, and now is ready to sit back and wait. The only factor he forgot was the preschooler factor. He had Sammy help plant the "Giant Pumpkin" seeds (meaning they are supposed to grow giant pumpkins), which by the way was super cute watching the daddy-daughter bonding happening, but forgot to mention to her that these things take time. So the next day, she took it upon herself to go dig up the seeds, proceded to bring them to me and was pretty upset that the seeds were still seeds and not Cinderella carrying size pumpkins as daddy had promised. So we are now planting the seeds again, and beginning to learn what "patience" from the fruits of the spirit song really means.
